About the Waking Night Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, your role is essential to ensuring the children in our care are kept safe, calm, and cared for throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment overnight

*

Supporting young people who may wake or struggle to settle

*

Managing any incidents or behavioural challenges with a calm, consistent approach

*

Completing night-time domestic tasks and admin as required

*

Monitoring the home and supporting morning handovers

*

Promoting safeguarding and emotional well-being throughout your shift

Who We're Looking For

We're open to applications from a range of backgrounds including social care, healthcare, education, and youth support. If you've worked nights before or are keen to move into night shifts, we'd love to hear from you.

Regular rota pattern 4 nights on followed by 4 nights off rolling pattern. (including some weekends)
