DK Recruitment are working with a Top 50 Accountancy practice in their search for an Accounts Technician, to be based in their Honiton office. We are looking to liaise with practice experienced candidates who will thrive in a forward-thinking firm who embrace innovation and invest in their teams.

Your New Role

As an Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

* Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns

* Providing bookkeeping services

* Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns

* Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns

What We Are Looking For

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience and qualifications

* AAT qualified

* Experience of working in a practice-based environment

* Experience of working with the charity sector would be an advantage

* Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detail

* Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
