We are working with a well-established provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager for their children's residential home in Newham, East London. This home supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader looking to step up into a leadership role, or for an experienced Deputy Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a well-supported home.

Key Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential

*

Recent experience in a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy Manager role within a children's residential care setting

*

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and care planning

*

Previous experience supporting children with EBD and associated complex needs

*

Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise staff effectively

*

Confident in supporting the Registered Manager with operational duties, staff management, and regulatory compliance

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Passionate about delivering high-quality, therapeutic care to young people
