Pay: £140 – £220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic long-term role with the potential to go permanent, offering consistency and progression within a welcoming school community.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Geography across KS3 and KS4 (experience in Humanities subjects is also welcomed).
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
• Support students of varying abilities, ensuring progress and achievement.
• Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography (and ideally wider Humanities).
• Previous teaching experience in a UK secondary school.
• Passionate, committed, and able to inspire students to develop a love of learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK.
• Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service or willingness to apply – support available).
• A full and up-to-date CV.
