The Engineering Shift Manager will be working Continental Shifts Days 7am to 7pm and Nights 7pm - 7am (on average 3.5 days per week) with 1 week off every 5 weeks!!

A salary of £46-56k + shift allowance of £7785 per annum is on offer (dependent on experience) plus some great benefits as below!
 
As a high calibre Maintenance Engineer looking to develop your career in a FMCG environment, in this Engineering Shift Manager role you will lead and manage the day to day running of the shift including a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers with the following responsibilities

Train, coach, mentor and develop your team to perform to the highest standard
Control and manage tools allocated to the Shift and record all stock used in the support of machinery
Request replacement parts and source additional parts
Record all necessary administrative requirements on TMS
Ensure all equipment is set up prior to the shift starting and ensure lines are shut down correctly at the end of the shift
Identify areas of improvement by understanding engineering and operational KPI's
Ensure regular checks are conducted to maintain workshop and external areas
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

Skilled and experience Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for the next step or previous experience in an Engineering Shift Manager role from a manufacturing or even FMCG
Some experience in engineering leadership would be advantageous
HNC certification or Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering
NEBOSH or IOSH qualified is desirable
IEE 17th or 18th Edition would be useful
Instrumentation and process control experience
PLC experience
Air, pneumatics and refrigeration experience
