We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant in the Leyland, Lancashire area. We are looking for a candidate with a background in working with children who are disengaged from education and / or display challenging behaviours int he classroom. We are working closely with a Leyland based school which caters for children who can no longer remain in mainstream education; often due to their behaviours!
The role will be full time and the school hours are 8.15am - 4pm Monday - Friday. The role requires a candidate who is confident, calm, compassionate and has a strong personality. You must be able to build rapport with children who are often difficult to engage and you must be confident in your behaviour management skills. Ideally, the candidate will have undertaken some de-escalation or behaviour management training recently.
The pay for the role is dependent on experience, between £70 - 80 per day.
