Civil Operative - Dumper / Roller Driver
Location: Pembroke Substation
Rate: £27 per hour
Contract: Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Operative (Dumper / Roller Driver) to join a substation project in Pembroke. This is a great opportunity for skilled operatives with a strong background in civil works and plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

Drainage installations (surface water, foul water, oily water)
Installation of HV & LV ducting and draw pits
Installation of HV & LV precast troughs
Excavation works and safe digging in line with HSG47
Blinding and placement of concrete to foundations
Reinstatement of excavations (backfill and compaction)
Hand excavations
Vehicle marshalling / banksman duties
Operating plant including dumper and roller

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in civil works within a similar environment
Competence in operating dumper and roller
Strong understanding of safe digging practices (HSG47)

Desirable Certifications

NPORS or CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper
NPORS or CPCS Ride-On Roller
Manual Handling
HSG47 (2 Day)
NG Persons
