Ignite Recruitment are looking for experienced ground supervisor to manage parks and open spaces in Enfield.
Are you an experienced supervisor? Do you have the passion to lead a team to succeed? This exciting opportunity requires a motivated individual who can contribute to the delivery of innovative ground's services. You will need to be able to communicate to a range of groups, as well as lead a front-line team.
Our ideal candidate will be: • An experienced supervisor in grounds maintenance or equivalent land-based sector / industry. • Able to issue and monitor work schedules and forecast future works. • Understand and able to use machinery safely and competently. • Able to adapt to different requests and priorities and remain calm and decisive during times of pressure. • Competent in line management supervision and direction to a team of front-line team members, ensuring consistency and high standards in service provision.
Must have a driving licence Use of council vehicle not for personal use managing approx. 20 staff
Working 37 hours per week, with one in six Saturdays and Sundays expected, though these are reduced to 6.5 hour shifts
