Halewood Academy, part of the Wade Deacon Trust and partnered with The Supply Register, is seeking a reliable and organised Cover Supervisor to manage classrooms during teacher absences. • Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher

• Follow lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

• Support pupils’ learning and behaviour management

• Report any issues to the relevant staff member or SENCO

• Ensure a safe, productive, and positive classroom environment

• Provide administrative support to teaching staff when required

Essential:

• Experience working with children in a school environment

• Good classroom management and communication skills

• DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professionalism in a classroom setting

Desirable:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification

• Experience in behaviour management or supporting pupils with SEN

• Knowledge of the national curriculum

• First Aid qualification
