Position: Art & Photograph Teacher

Location: North Leeds, South Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long-term temporary, potential to be extended

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Salary: £140.00 - £211.96 per day, depending on experience

Leader Education is currently recruiting for an Art and Photography Teacher for a Secondary School in North Leeds.

We are looking for someone who can teach Art and Photography at a Key Stage 3 and a Key Stage 4 level. Teaching Art and Photography at a Key Stage 5 level would be an advantage, but not necessary. We are also looking for someone who has a passion for education, is understanding and compassionate, and has strong behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate:

Will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Will have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Will have a relevant degree in Art and Photography
Will have previous experience teaching secondary aged children Art and Photography
Will have good behaviour management skills
Will be passionate about teaching and education, compassionate and understanding, and encouraging towards children
Will have a good knowledge of Safeguarding and the relevant procedures
