**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to support the successful completion of a large-scale residential project in South East London. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure that the project progresses efficiently, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and schedule.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Site Manager/Project Manager in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all workers and visitors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and any delays are promptly addressed.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth progression of construction activities.
- Support the Site Manager in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, representing the company professionally at all times.

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally on residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proven organisational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including MS Office suite and project management software.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid).
