Our client, an independent insurance broker, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their team!

Key skills/experience:

• At least 2 years experience dealing with Group Risk /Health medical insurance as a broker
• Account-executive experience within a brokerage
• Detailed knowledge of health /private medical insurance

This role:

• To administer and service existing clients, which includes but is not limited to, visiting clients, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with insurers, processing adjustments, claims and preparing client reports and other documentation.
• The Candidate must have a good understanding of all classes of health /private medical Insurance. Ideally they will also have experience in Travel / Cashplans.
• To cross-sell insurance and approved non-insurance products according to the demands and needs of the existing clients and where required, to secure new commercial business form client referrals or leads generated by the Company.
