The Role- DT Teacher

We are looking to recruit a professional, inspiring and committed Teacher of Product Design. The successful applicant will be a specialist in design and technology or Resistant Materials, this can include wood or metal. Teaching will focus on handcraft skills at key stage 3 with opportunities to design and make products using basic electronics or mechanisms. All projects should follow a design developed by the teacher and students together. At KS4, the school offers Construction and Product Design, therefore either specialism would be an advantage.

This is a co-educational comprehensive school for students aged 11 to 19. It is situated in an attractive semi rural area of Rochford, voted one of the top 10 best places to live in the UK.
