The Tax Senior will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, deliver a high standard of compliance work, and support on advisory projects. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and supporting partners with technical matters.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering up to £50,000 with hybrid and flexible working options (3 days in the office, 2 days from home after probation

Tax Senior Job Overview

Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC and internal deadlines
Prepare and process personal tax returns and P11Ds
Calculate and advise on tax liabilities and due payment dates
Respond to client queries and provide ad hoc advice
Handle HMRC correspondence and enquiries
Support junior team members and partners on technical matters
Assist with technical reports (income tax, CGT, IHT)
Attend and contribute to client meetings

Tax Senior Job Requirements

At least 2 years' UK accountancy practice experience
ATT qualified or studying towards (CTA is a plus)
Excellent communication, organisation, and Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
