IT Cloud Platform Engineer

Belfast (Hybrid)

We're partnering with a leading international legal client expanding their Belfast technology function and investing heavily in cloud-first infrastructure.

This is a key hire within a 16-person Infrastructure Services team, where you'll design, build and optimise secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure and enterprise environments. You'll work closely with developers, product owners and senior stakeholders to drive automation, resilience and continuous improvement.

Role:

• Design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud solutions
• Manage hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-prem (Windows Server, VMware)
• Own vulnerability management, patching and security best practice (CIS / ISO27001 aligned)
• Maintain core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Entra ID)
• Support BCDR, backup strategy and proactive monitoring
• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota

Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure & Entra ID
• Background in Infrastructure / Systems Administration / Cloud Engineering
• Solid Windows Server #removed#) expertise
• Experience in vulnerability remediation & cyber security tooling
• Knowledge of networking, monitoring & enterprise environments
• ITIL awareness

Nice to have: AKS, Azure Functions, Terraform (IaC), Intune/MDM, F5, firewall configuration, or experience in professional services/legal environments.
