RG consultancy are currently recruiting an experienced management accountant for a well-established Engineering company based in Wallasey. The role would report directly to the finance manager and would be perfect for a part/qualified CIMA candidate looking to further their career within a growing SME business.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and journals.
Provide detailed financial analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
Partner with operational teams to improve cost control and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
