Our client based in Middleton is an expanding company with an excellent reputation of manufacturing high-quality technical mould tools. They have enjoyed a steady growth in clientele and have established a strong order book with a promising future. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker.

The Job

* Toolmaker will assemble and fit injection mould tools

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Grinding, bedding, polishing, fitting parts, troubleshooting and debugging

* Working closely with design and production teams to ensure high-quality standards and project timelines are met.

About you

* Skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models

* Competence in assembling, fitting, and repairing injection mould tools

* Injection Moulding experience

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

* Familiarity with tool trialing and validation processes

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* High standards of quality and precision in workmanship

* Apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in toolmaking or mechanical engineering

* Experience with ISO 9001:2008 quality systems is a plus
