Location: Lowestoft 
Contract Type: Temporary - with the possibility of temp to perm

Duration: Until 18th December 2025 (trial period, may continue after review)
Hours: 37 hours per week

Mon-Thurs: 08:30 - 17:00
Fri: 08:30 - 16:30
Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour

Select Recruitment are currently seeking two reliable Security Rangers to provide extra security support across our client's campuses in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for SIA-qualified professionals to secure steady hours in a professional environment with the possibility of a permanent role after the trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out regular patrols of campus grounds and buildings
Ensuring students are wearing their lanyards
Maintaining site and premises security at all times
Acting as first point of contact for assistance - directing to first aid, duty principal, facilities, or security response where needed
Attending to any security issues, including dispersing groups, monitoring car parks, and addressing concerns promptly
Essential Requirements:

Valid SIA licence (current and in-date)
DBS 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Reliability and good timekeeping
