About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong strong technical background and proven expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS), , to deliver projects across a large retail portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation within the FM and Building Services industry, managing end-to-end project delivery and ensuring technical and operational excellence.

The role will be primarily based in Manchester, with occasional UK and European travel (approximately 15%).

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage BMS-related projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.

* Oversee the full project lifecycle, from design, planning, and coordination through to completion and handover.

* Apply technical expertise in BMS (Niagara framework) to ensure successful integration, optimisation, and performance.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships and achieve project objectives.

* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure system reliability and compliance with industry standards.

* Conduct site visits in the UK and occasionally across Europe to oversee project progress and resolve technical challenges.

* Monitor project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Experience Required

* Degree/HND in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

* Proven track record in Project Management within building services/FM environments.

* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with BMS systems, specifically Niagara.

* Strong understanding of electrical and control systems.

* Excellent organisational, planning, and leadership skills.

* Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

* Ability to travel across the UK and Europe when required (~15%).
