We are seeking an experienced Estate Operative / Caretaker to join a residential development, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair and presentation of the estate.

Key duties include:

• Internal and external building maintenance
• Repairs, installations and replacement of damaged systems
• Painting, decorating, lighting and window maintenance
• Fitting hard-wired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
• Ongoing inspections of common areas and building systems
• Working closely with concierge, management and external contractors
• Ensuring health & safety and statutory compliance
• Supporting the overall upkeep and functionality of the development

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ property maintenance experience
• Multi-trade skills including plumbing, painting, carpentry and basic gardening
• Organised and practical problem-solver
• Able to respond to emergency issues when needed
• Reliable, personable and proactive
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
