HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Thurrock - Stanford-le-Hope
£17.00 or £19.00 per hour PAYE

Job Details:
We are seeking skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our team. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and Compliance.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid and up to date Driver CPC and Tacho Cards
Preferably have Port ID cards already but can put the driver through if required

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and inform on site fitters of any issues.
Communicate effectively with planners, customers, and team members
Complete necessary paperwork, such as POD's and daily inspection reports
Safely operate a commercial vehicle, Transporting Containers from Port to Addressess in the UK
