Assembly Operative

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of high-quality signage and fabrication solutions.

• Location: Normanton (WF6)
• Hours: Monday to Friday rotating shifts #removed#/#removed#- 40 hours per week
• This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.
• Salary is dependent on experience and to be discussed at interview.

Role

As an Assembly Operative, you will work on a wide range of projects, following drawings and instructions to ensure all signage is produced to the highest standards of quality and finish. You will be hands-on, working with different materials and components. We're looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties

• Assemble signage products, including structural components, face panels, brackets, and LED lighting systems.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
• Assist with fitting and wiring LED lighting where required.
• Ensure all completed signage meets quality and finish standards.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Assembly Operative to join a busy and friendly assembly department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to play a key role in producing and assembling high-quality signage products. Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
