With decades of experience, our client specialises in one-off and small to medium batch work, manufacturing components from a wide variety of materials. Their capabilities include CNC and conventional machining, gear cutting, fabrication, and reverse engineering from samples or worn parts.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit experienced CNC Millers and CNC Turners on a permanent basis.

The Roles

These are hands-on positions where you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, taking jobs from concept through to completion.

You will be working in a true jobbing environment, producing bespoke components and working from both engineering drawings and physical samples.

CNC Milling

* Hurco Machining Centres (WinMax controls)

* XYZ Protrack machines

CNC Turning

* Doosan Puma Lathes (Fanuc controls)

* XYZ Lathes (Protrack controls)

Key Responsibilities

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines

* Working from engineering drawings and/or sample parts

* Manufacturing components from start to finish

* Machining a wide range of materials

* Ensuring high standards of quality and precision

* Self-inspection of completed work

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience in CNC milling or turning

* Ability to programme (online), set, and operate

* Experience working in a jobbing or subcontract environment

* Confident working from drawings and/or reverse engineering from samples

* Strong attention to detail and quality

Working Hours

* Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00

* Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

* 39 hours per week
