Alice Rose Recruitment is partnering with a leading global main contractor as they continue to expand their building services maintenance division. We are seeking an experienced Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a high-performing engineering team at a prestigious commercial office building in Moorgate.

Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Electrical Maintenance: Fault finding, lighting systems, lamp and ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution

* Mechanical Support: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and basic mechanical/HVAC systems

* HVAC & Building Plant: AHUs, FCUs, air conditioning systems, and emergency lighting

* Building Systems Monitoring: BMS operation (trend analysis), chiller resets, and UPS systems

* Service Delivery: Ensure efficient operation of all building services and maintain high standards for tenant experience

* Team Collaboration: Work as part of a large, professional on-site engineering team

Shift Engineer Shift Pattern:

* Continental shift pattern: 2 days, 2 off, 3 nights, 3 off

* Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 (days) / 19:00 - 07:00 (nights)

Shift Engineer Requirements:

* Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* Proven experience within commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, banking, data centres)

* Strong understanding of building services systems

* LV or HV Authorised Person (desirable)
