Are you a hands-on, mechanically minded individual looking to join a growing and innovative company in the waste and recycling machinery sector? We're looking for a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our team and help build, maintain, and refurbish high-performance waste processing equipment.

About the Role:

As a Workshop Fitter, you'll be responsible for:

Assembling and fitting components for recycling and waste machinery (shredders, conveyors, compactors, etc.).
Carrying out mechanical repairs, refurbishments, and routine maintenance.
Working from technical drawings and specifications.
Fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Ensuring quality and safety standards are met at all times.
Assisting with machine testing and commissioning when required.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a mechanical fitter, ideally within the waste, recycling, plant, or heavy machinery industry.
Good knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
Welding/fabrication experience is a plus (not essential).
Full UK driving licence preferred.What's On Offer:
