Junior Acoustic Consultant

My client is a well-established consulting firm that specialises in acoustic engineering and noise control solutions. Their services include noise studies, acoustic design, and mitigation solutions. With expertise in fields such as architecture, environmental engineering, surveying, and manufacturing, they aim to provide customised solutions to their clients' acoustic challenges. Their primary goal is to ensure that their clients receive tailored solutions to their unique needs.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a comparable discipline.
• A valid UK driver's license.
• At least one year of experience working with sound and noise surveys.
• Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collate all technical data from assessments and create comprehensive and unambiguous technical reports.
• Conduct surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration, using modelling software.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliverables on time.
