You will be based at our client's site and on the road travelling around the Northeast to carry out tests, when on the road a company van is provided and if you are required to stay away from home then expenses will be paid. Responsibilities
• Carrying out a range of NDT inspections including Phased Array and TOFD on different manufacturing and industrial sites.
• Regular travel predominately around the Northeast and when required around other areas around the UK.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements as well as client requirements.
• Interpret and evaluate test results
• Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations.
• Collect, collate and report with sketches the result of the examination.
• Work to international standards ensuring they are continually met.
• Present reports with detailed information and maintain all records.The Person
• Previous NDT experience is required - for this role they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
• PCN Level 2 Phased Array and TOFD certs are essential.
• Experience with IT systems is required to ensure that you can complete report writing.
