Ashton Recruitment require an Internal Sales Representative our busy client based in the Duncrue area of Belfast.
Job Title: Internal Electrical Sales Representative
Location: Belfast
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday; 08:30-17:00
Duties will include (But not limited to):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer technical enquiries related to Switchgear and associated product ranges, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Prepare and issue customer quotations and comprehensive project proposals in line with client specifications and company pricing strategies.
- Process customer orders efficiently, maintaining accuracy and adherence to internal procedures and timelines.
- Communicate professionally with customers via telephone and email, delivering excellent service and fostering strong working relationships.
- Liaise directly with suppliers to source and obtain information on specific products, ensuring compatibility and suitability for customer requirements.
- Assist customers in product selection by interpreting technical requirements and recommending appropriate solutions tailored to their needs.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the smooth operation of the role and wider team objectives.
Essential Criteria
- A solid understanding of electrical systems, particularly switchgear, is essential. A background in electrical engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role within the electrical industry, demonstrating the ability to meet sales targets and build strong customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Sage, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software tools.
