�? Job Purpose To contribute to the development of a strong, effective school by promoting outstanding teaching and learning in Mathematics, while nurturing a culture of high expectations, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
?? Key Responsibilities - Lead the strategic development of the Mathematics Department, setting clear annual targets and using performance data to drive improvement.
- Inspire and support staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Embed innovative teaching strategies and assessment tools to raise student achievement.
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with national standards and school values.
- Plan and deliver intervention and enrichment programmes to support all learners.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and the wider community to enhance student learning.
- Line manage departmental staff, ensuring high standards of teaching, behaviour, and outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and student progress, using data to inform practice.
- Manage departmental resources, budgets, and health and safety in line with school policies.
