Management Accountant

12-Month Fixed Term Contract

£38,000–£40,000 per annum

Woking – 3 Days per Week On-Site

We’re supporting a well-established manufacturing and logistics group seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role will sit within the head office finance function and play an important part in delivering accurate management reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the wider business with financial insight. The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial information is reliable and actionable.

The Role

Reporting to the senior finance team, you will support the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensure financial data is accurately captured and reconciled across multiple entities within the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports for multiple group entities
• Maintain and monitor intercompany balances, including loan positions and associated interest calculations
• Post financial transactions and journals within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations, fixed asset register maintenance, and depreciation postings
• Analyse financial results, investigating variances and identifying key performance trends
• Raise and reconcile intercompany recharge invoices across group entities
• Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting cycles, including preparation of information for senior management

What We’re Looking For

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (or Qualified by Experience)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in management accounting
• Experience working within a corporate or multi-entity finance environment
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
• Confident communicator able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
