Pureprofile is a large provider of services for the Market Research industry. With proprietary panels in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and additional partner access around the globe, we provide online research respondents for some of the world’s largest brands and research agencies.
Listed on the Australian Stock exchange, we are headquartered in Sydney, Australia with additional offices in Melbourne, Auckland, London, Greece, Mumbai and locally in our Lower Manhattan (Soho) office in New York City. Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking for a Associate Account Manager to join our NYC team and support and build our US client base.
Although we have been in the US since 2011, we are very much in startup mode to ramp up the US business so you will have the opportunity to be a part of what is set to be a big chapter in the company’s history. You will have direct exposure to senior directors in the business and have the opportunity to understand all elements of a business in growth mode, from operations, marketing, sales and PR. Your key responsibilities will be:
Develop and manage your client portfolio that will include clients from a range of sectors including market research agencies, advertising agencies, PR agencies, academic institutions and directly to brands
Maintain full project ownership and manage expectations while delivering market research projects
Solution oriented - proactively anticipate, problem solve, execute and/or escalate challenges in a timely manner and after exhausting all options
Work with sales to prospect new business
Partner with our clients, providing them with advice, guidance and support
Achieve and exceed the revenue targets and objectives set for you
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Supporting all research sales through project and account management
Overseeing and/or executing project-related tasks such as, setting up projects, testing survey links, building reports, designing sample plans, monitoring projects, updating clients and vendors on progress
Answering requests from existing and prospective clients, consulting on projects, preparing quotes
Working closely with all teams - sales, project management, programming and external partners, to ensure that each project is delivered with excellence and that each account is managed in an optimal way while meeting strict deadlines
Updating our CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure all quotes, projects, contacts and meetings are tracked
Closing out projects and ensuring they are ready to be billed correctly with clients and vendors
Exceptional ability to multi-task, balance multiple projects and priorities

The successful candidate's experience:
REQUIRED: 2-5 years consultative project and/or account management experience with online quantitative market research panels - supplier side preferred, but will consider someone from a research company who regularly works with online panels
Strong understanding of online panel research and fieldwork requirements for global consumer and B2B projects including sampling, incidence rates, panel feasibility and pricing
Experience managing and communicating with multiple clients and teams at a time
Ability to manage stress and troubleshoot in high-pressure situations
Great attention to detail, highly organized planner who is be able to manage multiple projects, priorities and client requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work within a global team and also autonomously with minimal supervision
Familiarity with web-based survey tools (i.e. Survey Monkey, Survey Gizmo, Decipher, Qualtrics) and data visualization platforms is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with MS Office: Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Advanced user of technology and proficiency on a Mac
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
