Internal Communications Specialist

My client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business, supplying complex, safety-critical products across multiple technical sectors. As they grow, they are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to help improve employee engagement and ensure clear, consistent communication across their 500-strong workforce.

The Role

You will develop and deliver internal communication across newsletters, intranet, email, digital screens, and town halls. Working closely with HR, Operations, and senior leaders, you'll support change programmes, promote our values, and help build a strong, connected culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create and deliver engaging internal communications

* Manage the internal communications calendar

* Support employee engagement and change initiatives

* Produce content for multiple internal channels

* Ensure consistency in tone of voice and messaging

* Gather feedback and report on communication effectiveness

About You

Essential:

* Internal communications experience

* Excellent writing and content creation skills

* Confident using intranet and digital tools

* Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

* Experience in employee engagement or change communication

* Familiarity with internal digital content platforms
