Pay Rate: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour depending on experience

Overview

ProForce Personnel Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to support one of our leading logistics clients. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive pay and a supportive operational environment ideal for drivers aiming to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) HGVs for multi-drop and regional deliveries

* Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain vehicle paperwork

* Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects

* Assist with loading/unloading if required (e.g., tail-lift or pallet truck)

* Ensure excellent customer service at delivery points

* Adhere strictly to all relevant driving regulations and company health & safety policies

Candidate Requirements

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

* Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card

* Preferably 6+ months of recent Class 1 driving experience

* Clean driving licence (no serious endorsements or disqualifications)

* Reliable, professional, and strong communicator

* Willingness to work varied shifts and adaptable to operational needs

Desirable Experience

* Familiarity with tail-lifts or forklift loading

* Use of warehouse management or logistics tracking systems

* Experience in customer-facing delivery environments
