We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor (Black Hat) to join a major redevelopment project within a secure, live operational environment in Plymouth. This is a key supervisory role, providing frontline leadership to electrical operatives and subcontractors while ensuring full compliance with electrical safety rules, statutory regulations, and project procedures.

Working within a high-assurance setting, you will oversee day-to-day electrical activities, support safe systems of work, and act as a critical link between the workforce and Authorised Person (AP). You will monitor works, review RAMS and permits, deliver toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety-first culture across site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise electrical works to ensure compliance with safety rules and permits

Support safe isolation and LV systems management

Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site operatives

Conduct briefings and contribute to daily coordination meetings

Maintain inspection and compliance records

Promote continuous improvement and workforce competence

Essential Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) - Time Served Electrician

ECS Gold Card (Electrician or Approved Electrician)

SSSTS or SMSTS

18th Edition (C&G 2382)

Strong LV experience and safe isolation knowledge

Proven site-based electrical supervision experience

Ability to interpret drawings, RAMS and permit systems

Confident leadership and communication skills

Desirable:

First Aid at Work

Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance and have resided in the UK for the past five years
