Join Our Growing Property Services Team at Paradigm Housing Group

Due to significant growth and recent large property acquisition, we’re excited to announce two newly created full-time, permanent contracts within our Direct Labour Operation (DLO). We’re looking for experienced, multi-skilled plumbers who are passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out a variety of plumbing and general maintenance tasks to a high standard, aiming for first-time fixes.
  • Multi-trade experience, including Carpentry/Kitchen/Bathroom fitter experience is essential for this role.
  • Represent Paradigm professionally in residents' homes, ensuring a respectful and courteous approach.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Manage van stock efficiently and minimise material waste.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Support apprentices and team members with guidance and mentoring.
  • Participate in our on-call rota to provide essential out-of-hours support (not essential)

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant trade qualifications (City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Carpentry or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a plumber, with additional skills in carpentry, ideally including kitchen and bathroom fitting, door hanging, and general woodwork repairs.
  • A full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
  • A sound understanding of health and safety practices.
