Site Engineer (Sizewell C)

Contract

£350 a day + Subsistence

£50k DOE + Package + Subsistence

Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk

Role / Responsibilities

*

Support delivery of civil-engineering works including site clearance, drainage & service ducts, earthworks, pavements, kerbs & footways, street lighting, and various other civil-engineering elements.

Ensure works are constructed in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.

*

Perform setting out and “as-built” surveys.

*

Manage quality check sheets / ITPs (inspection and test plans) and carry out onsite inspections.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills Required

*

Background in Construction or Civil Engineering; prior experience as a Site or Section Engineer—ideally within a civil/highways environment.

*

Good technical knowledge of reinforced-concrete (RC) structures is desirable.

*

Familiarity with RC works and formwork, especially in a high-profile / Tier 1 environment, with attention to health, safety, environment (HSE) and quality.

*

Proficiency with survey/setting-out instruments—for example, Trimble or Leica EDMs & Laser Levels
