Location: West Bromwich

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00 - £60,000.00 + OT + Van & FC

Field Service Engineer - About the Role

We’re hiring a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and diagnose faults on construction and plant machinery. This is a field-based role covering The West Midlands, supported by a depot team, manufacturer-led training, and strong technical backup.

Field Service Engineer - What You’ll Be Doing

• Field-based diagnostics, repair, and servicing of plant equipment
• Attending breakdowns and performing fault-finding
• Using digital tools for job cards and timekeeping
• Collaborating with service supervisors and parts teams
• Ordering parts accurately and keeping machines compliant
• Mentoring apprentices or junior engineers (as required)

Field Service Engineer - What We’re Looking For

• NVQ level 3 in Plant Maintenance or time served (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience working on Construction Plant
• Competence in diagnostics and fault-finding
• Good customer-facing skills and time management
• Full UK Driving Licence
