An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Newbury for an 8-week placement. This is a great role for an enthusiastic practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons and maintain strong curriculum continuity during the period of cover.

The Role

We are looking for an educator who can:

• Teach Geography across KS3–KS4
• Plan and deliver schemes of work that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of the world
• Create a positive, well-structured classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress effectively
• Contribute to the wider department where needed

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge and confident delivery
• Positive behaviour-management strategies
• Someone reliable, proactive, and able to hit the ground running
