Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School, Harrow

A primary school in Harrow borough is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA (or very experienced Teaching Assistant) to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on varied responsibilities across year groups in a vibrant school community.

Role details:

Position: HLTA / Experienced TA
Location: South Harrow, London
Pay: £115-£125 per day (negotiable)

Key responsibilities:

Providing general classroom support across the school
Delivering whole-class teaching when required, covering lessons across different year groups
Supporting teaching and learning to ensure all pupils are engaged and making progress
Adapting quickly to changing plans and maintaining a positive, proactive approach

The successful candidate will:

Be an HLTA or highly experienced Teaching Assistant with proven experience of taking classes independently
Have strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
Be a clear and confident communicator, reliable and adaptable
Demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting children's learning across all primary phases
