Quest Search and Selection is looking for a Technical & Compliance Manager to oversee product quality, supplier compliance, and risk mitigation for hardline products.

This privately-owned business employs 1,500+ people across 70 UK locations and remains a leader in its field.

• Lead product quality management, ensuring UK regulatory compliance for all hardline products.
• Ensure processes stay up-to-date with UK laws.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SEDEX compliance and timely resolution of audit issues.
• Source high-quality vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage rebates.
• Work with testing labs, audit houses, third-party partners, and suppliers.
• Oversee QA/QC policies, product quality issues, recalls, and returns.
• Maintain product compliance, manage test certificates, and ensure safety data sheets.
• Lead ethical and environmental audits, maintaining due diligence.

• 4-5+ years' experience in quality/compliance roles.
• Leadership experience managing a small team (2 reportees).
• Experience with external agencies, vendors, and contract management.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of UK/EU testing requirements.
• Familiar with SEDEX systems and third-party audits.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven.
