Hours of work: 37.5 hours (on call responsibilities - Approx. 1 week in 3)

Base: Multi-site across Birmingham region

The client:
In partnership with an established, sector leading provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours, I am actively recruiting for an area registered manager to join their team.

The Job:
Reporting directly to an established regional manager, you will be responsible for the operational day to day management of established supported living settings within the Birmingham region. These services will vary in size from single to multiple occupancy.

This exciting and challenging, full time, permanent role, will require the new registered area manager to split their time between the Birmingham area office, as well as having a significant presence on their service.

Key Responsibilities and duties will include:
" Operational day to day management
" Implementation of service improvement, quality and compliance and robust change management solutions
" Internal auditing
" The delivery of person-centred care and support that effectively promotes choice, dignity, and independence
" Oversight of recruitment, training, and development
" Building effective relationships with CQC and external agencies
" Shared on call responsibilities

Skills & Experience requirements:
" Experience of the management of CQC registered services for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours
" Understanding of supporting adults with mental health diagnoses, addiction, and complex health needs
" Level 5 in leadership and management
" Driving licence with access to own vehicle
" Flexibility to manage multiple sites and be visible on your services
" Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
" Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
" Empathetic, pro-active and solution focused approach
