Job Title: Deputy Manager Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (full time to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)Salary: £22000Location: Kings Heath, BirminghamThe client:In partnership with a recognised care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities, I am a recruiting for a compassionate, empathetic and motivated deputy manager to join an established team, at their 5-bed residential service for adults with learning disabilities in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. The Job:I am looking for a confident, positive, and enthusiastic team member to support adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs in all aspects of daily living. Your focus will be to help the people you support to lead a happy and fulfilled life, whilst promoting independence.

Responsibilities will include:" Delivering a high level of quality support to customers, ensuring each service is safe, effective, caring, and always responsive to the customer's needs" Assisting with the management and service within the home ensuring effective utilisation of resources to enable the provision of good quality, safe and effective services." Ensuring that all statutory, regulatory and company Policy requirements are monitored, managed and achieved." Participating in events, meetings etc., where the intention is to publicise the organisation, and to support the marketing of available servicesThe successful person will be:" Positive, pleasant and approachable" Committed to empowering others to become stronger and more confident in controlling their lives" Have relevant professional experience and vocational qualifications - or be willing to work towards care qualifications (level 2 in health and social care as a minimum)" A confident communicator" Flexible to work a varied shift pattern" Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
