We have just been asked to find an experienced motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our client’s growing team, specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-quality, bespoke architectural and structural metalwork
Key Responsibilities for the Welder / Fabricator:
- Fabricate and weld gates, railings, handrails, balustrades, and related components to specification.
- Use MIG welding to a high standard.
- Operate workshop equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and other hand/power tools.
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings with accuracy.
- Carry out on-site installations, including fitting gates and structural metalwork.
- Maintain a high standard of health & safety both in the workshop and on-site.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and project requirements.
What the Welder / Fabricator will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in fabrication and welding, ideally within architectural or structural metalwork.
- Strong MIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred (essential for site-based work).
