Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a dedicated and confident Behaviour Mentor to join a progressive PRU in Stratford from September. The school works with students excluded from mainstream settings and provides tailored education and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students on a 1:1 and group basis with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement

• Implement behaviour support strategies and contribute to a positive school ethos

• Collaborate with teachers and behaviour leads to manage incidents effectively

• Build trusting, mentoring relationships with students who may have experienced trauma

Person Specification:

• Background in youth work, behaviour mentoring, or PRU/SEMH settings

• Resilient, proactive, and able to build rapport quickly

• Excellent de-escalation and conflict resolution skills

• Passion for working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people
