About the Role

We are seeking a Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Maths to join a supportive secondary school in Portsmouth starting September 2026.

Ideal Candidate

Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths

Passionate about inspiring students and improving outcomes

Willingness to engage fully with the ECT programme and CPD opportunities

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
