About the Company:
Join a leading UK manufacturer of high-power electrical equipment, recognised for innovation, quality, and engineering excellence. We're seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of industrial resistor systems and related electrical equipment.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

Design and develop electrical equipment for industrial and power applications.

*

Produce design calculations, drawings, and documentation for manufacture.

*

Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

*

Select components, materials, and assemblies for electrical/control systems.

*

Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Test teams to optimise designs.

*

Ensure compliance with CE marking, DFMEA, and ISO 9001 standards.

*

Support research, testing, and product development initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

Essential:

*

Strong electrical design experience in manufacturing or machinery.

*

Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

*

Knowledge of CE marking and DFMEA.

*

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Excel.

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

*

Understanding of mechanical principles (materials, FEA, fabrication).

*

Experience with medium/high voltage (MV/HV) systems or assemblies.
