A well-established and growing FMCG company based in the Grimsby Area is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the business.

The salary is advertised £45k - £50k DOE including any potential additional paid overtime. As Maintenance Engineer you will be working a 5am-5pm / 5pm-5am OR 7am-7pm / 7pm – 7am – DD/NN rotating shift pattern.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery, equipment and systems to minimise downtime, optimise performance and helping to achieve plant availability targets.
- Continuous Improvements.
- Carry out tasks that include but not exclusive to electrical mechanical and utilities of all assets in all areas of our operation across multiple sites.
- Supporting operations in start-ups, size changes and process problems.
- Continuous self-development with respect to, machinery, current trends, legislation and processes understanding.
- Keep up to date with all emerging engineering technologies
- Always work in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and applicable legislation.

We would love to see your CV if you are a Maintenance Engineer with the following:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
- A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from a FMCG environment (ideally the food industry).
- A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of Lean maintenance and TPM
- Good understanding of current legislation in terms of Health, Safety and Environment.
- Good understanding of Continuous Improvement Tools in Lean Manufacturing (TPM)
- Awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements within engineering field
- Ability to work well under pressure and be assertive when making decisions to keep things moving smoothly.
