Buyer - Manufacturing (CIPS Level 4)

Monday to Friday - Full Time On-Site

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer (CIPS L4) to join our clients incredibly busy Supply Chain Team. Our client is a World Class manufacture and supplier of chemicals for the personal care, cosmetics, HI&I and many industrial applications. Due to exciting growth plans we are now

The Job

* Responsible for sourcing and purchasing chemicals and raw materials to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.

* Negotiating contracts and management of supplier relationships

* Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure timely and accurate material availability.

* Liaise with internal stakeholders re potential risks in supply.

* Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards

* Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Essential Skills and Qualifications

* Strong negotiation and contract management skills

* Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery

* Ability to analyse market trends and make informed purchasing decisions

* Understanding of environmental and safety compliance standards

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Proficiency in using procurement software and tools

* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field

* Experience in the chemical industry is a plus

* CIPS L4+

Hours of Work are Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times)
