Dental Technician – Quality Control

A progressive dental laboratory in London is seeking an experienced Dental Technician with a background in ceramics to take on a new role within the Quality Control team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with high standards and precision but may be looking to step away from the bench into a position focused on ensuring excellence across all cases before they reach clinicians and patients.

About the Role

As part of the quality control function, you will play a key role in maintaining the lab’s reputation for exceptional results. You’ll use your technical knowledge of ceramics and restorative work to assess cases, check accuracy and aesthetics, and support the wider team in delivering outstanding work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and evaluate ceramic restorations to ensure accuracy, function, and aesthetics
  • Liaise with technicians and clinicians to address any adjustments or refinements needed
  • Maintain and improve quality assurance processes within the laboratory
  • Ensure cases are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
  • Support training and development of junior staff where required
Requirements
  • Experienced Dental Technician with strong ceramics knowledge
  • GDC registration required
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give constructive feedback
  • Interest in developing a career beyond hands-on bench work
