My client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Portfolio Manager to lead a well-established residential portfolio in London. The portfolio spans several hundred homes across a variety of property styles, set within a neighbourhood of landscaped communal areas and green spaces, home to a large and diverse community of residents.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the portfolio, ensuring high standards across customer service, compliance, maintenance, and community engagement. Leading the on-site team, you will shape the resident experience, support long-term asset performance, and foster a thriving, positive community.

This is a visible and impactful leadership role for a proactive professional who enjoys combining operational management with team leadership and community engagement!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the on-site team, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the portfolio, ensuring high standards across facilities, maintenance, and resident services.
  • Deliver an exceptional resident experience through proactive communication and efficient resolution of service requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations across the portfolio.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

Your Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Portfolio Manager, General Manager or senior operational role within BTR, PBSA, residential, or hospitality environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing on-site teams and external contractors.
  • Solid understanding of building operations, property management processes, and tenancy management, including ASTs.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety and fire safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
